Kiedyś
studiowałem architekturę. To "kiedyś" znaczy, że ileś lat temu
chodziłem na wykłady i ćwiczenia, zdawałem egzaminy - wiadomo przecież,
że można coś studiować nie chodząc na wykłady i ćwiczenia i nie zdając
egzaminów; jednak potem, po tym "kiedyś", już nie studiowałem
architektury, nie zajmowałem się nią nijak, tylko ją oglądałem.
Natomiast ciągle myślałem o przestrzeni, byłem w niej, przemierzałem
ją, choć trudno byłoby to nazwać studiowaniem.
Once upon a time I
was studying architecture. It means, there was a time when I was
attending lectures, passing exams, designing houses and dwelling
districts – it's quite clear that one can study something not attending
lectures and not passing exams. However later I have neither been
studying architecture in any of these ways, nor I have anything to do
with it. Nevertheless I have been thinking of space, I have been in
space, I have been travelling through it. You can call it studying –
it's up to you.
